On Friday we went out to San Jose del 15, a poorer community on the outskirts of Guadalajara. During our internship, we spent many Fridays in this community. Chuy and Lorena are the couple who live here and have a vision to see this community changed for the glory of God. They have recently bought more land with the hope of hosting more community events. The church Reto does outreach events in this community approx. every month. We got to have lunch and visit with Lorena and their three beautiful kids.

Last night and this morning, we got to spend some time with Jen and Sandra. Jen and Sandra are part of the Matthew Team with MB Mission that has been in Guadalajara for six years now. Last night we visited and played Settler's of Catan. Today we went out for brunch at the Waffle Factory. We were so thankful to have a relaxing couple outings in English as sometimes thinking in Spanish can be really draining. Also we think Jen and Sandra are great!
